A big thanks to all the teachers and staff for their use and support of the library and of me personally. You all have been a second family. I appreciate how much you care for our students, each other, and for Irvin High School. Also, a special thanks to Ms. Hernandez who has made coming to work so enjoyable.
I also want to thank the administration and, specifically, Mr. Sharp. Thank you so much for supporting all our library programs. You've supported us by checking out books yourself, by providing the financial support needed, and by regularly visiting us and keeping us updated about what's going on in our school. That means so much to the library staff and to me. Also, I've enjoyed the CIT meetings. They are so positive about the future of Irvin and so productive. Thank you for your leadership.
Lastly, I want to thank the students of Irvin High School. You have been my inspiration and the reason why I worked hard to provide you with the best possible atmosphere, resources and the most engaging books. Thank you also to our Library courtesies. You guys are hardworking and a lot of fun! You've made running the library so much more enjoyable. I'm also proud to have sponsored the Class of 2016, the Rocket Book Club, and the Anime/Manga Club. All of us have worked hard together to make them successful. We've accomplished so much. Thank you, Rockets, for investing in your education and in your school. What you choose to give yourself to matters now and matters not only for your own future but for the future of the school and the community.
I'm proud of having been part of a community that loves its students and wants the best for you. I'm also proud of all we've accomplished together. I love you all and will miss you. God bless!
Once a Rocket, always a Rocket!
